Shaylin Schares graduated from Iowa State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design along with a Business Major in Marketing. In addition to her academic pursuits, she was involved in a variety of extracurricular activities on campus, such as TREND magazine and Greek Life.

Shay is the Net Lease Sales Marketing Specialist at Upland. In this position, her responsibilities include creating marketing and public relation materials, managing property listings and social media, along with many other projects. She is excited to expand her knowledge in commercial real estate while continuing to grow as a marketing specialist
